2016 first half Maui tourism figures: Visitor arrivals exceed 1 million, expenditures 2 billion.


  Visitor arrivals and expenditures on Maui were up for the first six months of the year, with arrivals topping 1.3 million (up 3% from the previous year) and spending at $2.3 billion (up 4% from last year), according to new data released by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.   The recent installation of our upgraded Wi-Fi has resulted in significantly faster download speeds – 10 times faster, in fact.
